International Boundary and Civil Construction Survey Division

Background

Myanmar is situated in South East Asis region and neighbouring countaries are Bangladesh, India, China, Laos and Thailand. International Boundary and Civil Construction Survey division, Survey Department, Ministry of Environmental Conservation and Forestry mainly undertakes for the land boundaries. Sea boundaries and river boundaries are the responsibility of Myanmar National Hydrographic Centre.  International Boundary and Civil Construction Survey division was formed under the survey department, ministry of Environmental Conservation and Forestry on 20th of April, 1990.
