Joint Boundary Meeting between Survey Department of Myanmar and Survey of Bangladesh was held in Nay Pyi Taw, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on 13-15 June, 2016.
Myanmar Delegation was led by U Than Hlaing, Director General, Survey Department of Myanmar and Bangladesh Delegation was led by Brigadier General Md. Abul Khair, ndc, PEngg, Surveyor General of Bangladesh. Both sides discussed finalization of the field programme on Joint Inspection, Repair, Restoration and Construction of Additional Boundary Pillars along Myanmar-Bangladesh Boundary during 2016-2017 field season.
