မြန်မာဘာသာ Myanmar – China Boundary was demarcated during the year 1959 to 1961. It was known as “Ba Ba Campaign”. In 1985-1986 field season, first phase of joint inspection of Myanmar- China boundary was done for 106 boundary pillars and necessary Additional Boundary Pillars were constructed. Second phase of joint inspection of Myanmar- China boundary for 498 boundary pillars was done during 1993- 1994 field season. Ground Control Point surveying for the total length of 1384 miles of Myanmar – China entire boundary was carried out during the 1993-1994 field season and aerial photography, vectorization and map production were also carried out.
