A five - day training course on Leica, Aibotix X6 (UAV with Airborne GPS) and its related software was held at the Survey Department, Nay Pyi Taw, from (6-6-2016) to (10-6-2016).
Mr. Kenneth Smillie, Segment Manager, Mobile Mapping & Solutions from Leica Geosystems Technologies Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) handed over the certificate of the Leica, Aibotix X6 to the Director General of Survey Department before the opening of the training.
Mr. Kenneth Smillie from Leica Geosystems Technologies Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), U Thant Sin Oo, Assistant Director from Survey Department and technicians from Geocomp Myanmar Ltd. demonstrated and explained about the Aibotix X6 and its related software.
Officers and staff members, totalling (16), from the Survey Department attended the course.
