The 11th meeting between the Heads of the Survey Departments of Myanmar and India was held in Yangon, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on 27-28 August, 2018.
Myanmar Delegation was led by U Thet Oo, Director General, Survey Department and India Delegation was led by Lt. Gen Girish Kumar, VSM, Surveyor General of India.
In the meeting, both sides discussed to ratify the last field joint reports on Joint Inspection, Repair, Restoration, Reconstruction and Maintenance of Boundary Pillars, Construction of Subsidiary Boundary Pillars, Joint Inspection of No Construction Zone (10 meter), Joint survey for the ground data collection in Kabaw and the field work programme of Joint Inspection, Repair, Restoration, Reconstruction and Maintenance along Myanmar-India Boundary during 2018-19 field season.
